Up for sale is a fantastic, highly collectible vintage 1970s wooden Soldier Guard nutcracker from the world-famous Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains) region of East Germany. This authentic piece features the historic design and craftsmanship exported under the state-backed Expertic trademark during the Cold War era.Standing11 inches tall, this figure is beautifully hand-carved and hand-painted, portraying a classic military guard uniform with traditional faux-fur hair and beard accents.
