Up for sale is a super-rare collector\'s set featuring two original, factory-sealed \"Comics From Marvel Books\" 3-packs. Together, they contain a complete, consecutive run of **The Transformers (1984) Issues #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, and #6**.
Since I had individual copies of each comic, both multi-packs are completely unopened, exceptionally well-preserved, and feature matching, authentic vintage **Toys \"R\" Us** price tags. This pair serves as an incredible historical time capsule from the peak of G1 Transformers history.
**⭐ THE DIRECT MARKET \"SPIDEY\" EDITIONS:**Unlike standard newsstand copies with barcodes, every single visible comic cover in this set features the highly sought-after **Direct Market Edition** graphics:
* The front-facing **Issue #1** and **Issue #4** clearly feature the iconic Spider-Man graphics in the corner boxes.*The rear-facing **Issue #3** and **Issue #6** also showcase Spider-Man corner graphics.* Because Marvel batched these factory multi-packs using consecutive warehouse inventory, this uniform presentation should confirm that the hidden inner comics (Issues #2 and #5) are also matching Direct Market copies.
*NOTE ON PHOTOS:* The original 1985 outer polybags have their own retail distribution barcodes printed directly on the plastic wrapping, which can obstruct a straight-on look at the comic covers.
