A moment of pure tenderness is captured in this Vintage 1985 mother Mary & Jesus Child porcelain figurine from The Valencia Collection by RR Roman of Japan.
The sculpted forms flow together in soft, graceful curves — mother Mary gently lifting Jesus Child close, their faces turned toward one another with quiet affection.
Hand‑painted in serene pastel tones of soft blue, cream, and warm blush, the figurine glows with the gentle luminosity characteristic of RR Roman’s mid‑1980s Japanese craftsmanship.
The mother’s robe drapes in elegant folds, her veil cascading down her back, while the child reaches upward with a gesture full of innocence and trust.
Standing 10.25 inches tall with a 3.75" x 3.5" base and weighing 15 ounces, this piece displays beautifully from every angle. The glossy finish highlights the delicate facial features and the smooth, flowing lines of the sculpture.
This figurine is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, or scratches — a lovingly preserved example of Valencia artistry. A perfect addition for collectors of Roman Inc., mother‑and‑child themes, or serene decorative porcelain.
