C-3PO Figure • R2-D2 Pop-Up Figure (Saber Missing) • R2-D2 Gold Collector CoinUp for sale is a premier, investment-grade collector lot featuring three exceptionally rare, 100% authentic original production pieces from the short-lived 1985 Kenner Star Wars "Droids" animated television series line. These are genuine vintage releases from 1985—NOT modern reproductions, custom bootlegs, or retro collection re-releases. ITEM-BY-ITEM CONDITION DETAILS:1. 1985 Kenner Droids C-3PO Action Figure:
- Leg Stamp: Crisp, highly legible macro-photo verified leg stamp reading "© L.F.L. 1985".
- Torso & Waist: 100% structurally solid, unbroken condition. Features original factory mold injection seam traits along the rear waist with zero cracks or structural splits.
- Limbs & Color: Exceptional preservation. Unlike many surviving examples, the soft plastic on the arms and legs has NOT suffered from typical severe "green limb" chemical discoloration. They maintain their correct tan-brown hue.
- Finish: The matte-yellow cartoon paint, blue neck collar, and midriff wire accents are bright and vibrant. Face paint and eyes are remarkably crisp.
- Joints: Tight and firm. The figure holds poses easily and stands perfectly on its own.
2. 1985 Kenner Droids R2-D2 Action Figure (Pop-Up Variant):-Action feature: The spring-loaded internal mechanism is fully functional. Twisting the white dome pops the internal prong smoothly up through the top. - Body Sticker: The original wrap-around paper factory decal is present. It shows typical vintage aging, minor play scuffs, and light edge lifting/wear, but the cartoon geometric graphics remain completely intact and legible.
- Note: Missing the tiny, loose translucent-green plastic saber blade accessory that slots into the dome. 3. 1985 Kenner Droids R2-D2 Collector Coin:
- Authenticity: Genuine original 1985 gold-anodized aluminum coin packed with the carded figures by Kenner.
