Original vintage Bud Light illuminated beer menu board dated July 15, 1986.
This uncommon commercial tavern display features the classic red, white and blue Bud Light logo beneath the Anheuser-Busch eagle emblem. The lower section is a changeable-letter beer board that would have been used in a bar, restaurant or tavern to advertise available draft and bottled beer.
The molded faux-wood frame has raised hops, wheat and leaf detailing along both sides, giving it a much more decorative appearance than a standard Bud Light wall sign.

Testing
The sign was plugged in and tested.
It powers on and illuminates, as shown in the photographs. One fluorescent tube currently works. The second tube does not illuminate and will need to be replaced.
The starter, ballast and other internal electrical components have not been individually tested. Due to the age of the sign, it should be inspected before extended use.
Included lettering
Only the changeable letters currently attached to the board and shown in the photographs are included. No additional letters or numbers are included.

Condition
This sign is being sold in original, unrestored and damaged vintage condition.
Known condition issues include:
* Multiple cracks across the clear upper plastic face
* Cracking around and across the Bud Light logo area
* Clear outer face is cracked near the top
* Upper retaining clip/tab that holds the clear face to the backing is broken off
* Clear face will need to be repaired or otherwise secured
* One fluorescent tube does not illuminate and needs replacement
* Scratches, scuffs and general surface wear
* Dirt, dust and discoloration from age and previous commercial display
* Wear and marks on the molded faux-wood frame
* Interior dirt and age-related wear
* Completeness of the original changeable-letter set is unknown
* Only the letters shown in the photographs are included
Despite the damage, the sign still displays extremely well when illuminated. The older Bud Light graphics, tall narrow format, changeable-letter menu board and ornate hops-and-wheat frame make it an excellent restoration project or authentic display piece for a home bar, tavern, restaurant, brewery collection, game room or breweriana collection.
