Beautiful vintage 1987 Scioto ceramic angel Christmas tree topper featuring a classic all-white glossy glaze. This graceful angel holds a scroll/songbook and features large detailed feathered wings, flowing robes, and delicate raised floral detailing around the neckline and bottom of the gown.
The underside is impressed “SCIOTO ©87,” identifying the ceramic mold as a Scioto design dating to 1987. The hollow interior allows the angel to be displayed as a Christmas tree topper, but she is equally beautiful displayed as a standing angel figurine for Christmas, religious, or cottage-style décor.
Measures approximately 9 inches tall.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition. Please review all photos closely for condition and details. Felt protectors have been added to the underside. Any minor variations in the glaze are consistent with the handmade/slip-cast nature and age of the piece.
