Up for sale is a fantastic piece of local sporting history: a Vintage 1988 KCTA Trapshooting Champion Belt Buckle.
This authentic award buckle features bold black lettering over an oval golden background reading "KCTA", flanked by ribbons commemorating the "CHAMPION" of the "SINGLES CLASS B" amateur division.
Condition Details:
• Front Casing: Excellent vintage condition. The golden-yellow fill is completely intact, and the raised black enamel lettering is crisp and fully legible. The silver-tone scroll and rope border accents show a very light, attractive natural age patina.
• Reverse Side: Features a rugged pebbled/hammered texture. Stamped with the official "88 © S.S.I." lightning-bolt maker's mark and "HANDCRAFTED USA".
• Hardware: The heavy-duty metal wire bale loop and secure attachment hook are perfectly straight, structurally sound, and ready to be fitted onto any standard snap-on Western leather belt.
Whether you are a collector of vintage prize buckles, an avid trapshooting enthusiast, or a fan of regional Missouri/Kansas Americana history, this beautiful piece makes a phenomenal addition to any collection!
