Original 1989 Budweiser Bud Man embossed tin sign, made by MCA Sign Co. for Anheuser-Busch. This die-cut sign shows Bud Man bursting through a wall with his cape flying, holding an oversized Budweiser bottle. It has great raised embossing on the bottle, gloves, boots, and broken wall pieces, which gives it a real 3D look.
The back has the original union label reading "© 1989 Anheuser-Busch Inc., St. Louis, MO, Item: 042-211, June 1989," MCA Sign Co., USWA Local 6817. That label confirms it's an authentic period piece, not a reproduction.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with bright, vivid colors. There are some scuff and abrasion marks on the dark blue cape area near the wall (see photos). There are also light surface scratches and minor handling wear consistent with age. The back is clean with light marks and scuffs. Pre-drilled holes make it ready to hang. Please review all photos, as they're part of the description.
Perfect for a bar, man cave, garage, or breweriana collection. Bud Man signs from this era are getting harder to find.
