Cookie Cottage cookie jar from The Lenox Village collection, 1991 — the companion line to the Lenox Spice Village and the largest piece in the series. Fine porcelain cottage with hand-painted pastel florals, \"COOKIES\" cartouche, lavender trim, textured yellow shingle roof, and chimney finial. Base is marked \"The Lenox Village Cookie Cottage,\" \"Fine Porcelain Lenox,\" ©Lenox 1991, with the original Handcrafted in Taiwan sticker intact. Lid retains the original plastic seal ring.
CONDITION — please read: a hairline crack at the front-right top corner of the base, about 2-3 inches long, has been stabilized with glue and is visible on close inspection inside and out; there is a small chip on the rim edge at that corner and a chip on the lower edge of the lid gable at the back. All are shown in the photos. No crazing; the lid seats snugly. Sold as a display piece and priced well below a clean example. Measures approximately 10.5 in tall with lid, 5.25 in square.
