Beautiful vintage Zulu handwoven basket, dating to approximately 1992, with its original Zulu Basketry information/certificate from Gardners of Sedona, Arizona.
This substantial lidded basket features exceptionally tight coiled weaving with striking geometric designs in natural tan, warm brown, reddish tones and black. The rounded vessel shape, fitted woven lid and intricate pattern make it a wonderful example of traditional African basketry and textile art.
