A stunning vintage Chinese export cloisonné enamel centerpiece bowl, acquired from a private estate. This beautiful 9-inch bowl features an elegant scalloped rim and a heavily gilded brass edge.
The interior and exterior are meticulously hand-crafted with intricate wirework depicting large blooming pink and yellow peonies (traditional symbols of wealth and prosperity) alongside a fluttering butterfly, all set against a rich midnight-blue ground. The underside finishes with a classic vibrant turquoise counter-enamel base.
The piece is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, major pitting, or missing enamel sections, and the gilt accents retain their brilliant luster.
