Vintage American Art Pottery Blue Ceramic Teapot Flower Bud Finial Lid USA AquaUp for sale is a charming piece of vintage American art pottery. This classic ceramic teapot features a beautiful, solid pastel robin\'s egg blue glaze with a high-gloss finish. The design stands out with its wonderful sculptural details, including a stylized opening flower bud finial serving as the lid handle, a classic round body, and an elegant curved pouring spout. This piece showcases excellent, thoughtful design. The upper inner curve of the handle features a built-in molded thumb-rest notch to provide a secure grip and better leverage while pouring. The lid is a cap-style design that overlaps the opening rim and is equipped with a single molded locking tab designed to keep the lid safely in place when tilted. The underside of the teapot features a wide unglazed dry foot ring with a deeply recessed, glazed center containing a straight, indented \"USA\" manufacturer mark. After much searching I couldn\'t identify the maker of this pot,It feels likeMcCoy or Shawnee in feel and form. Any help identifying it would be appreciated.Condition Notes:The teapot is in very good pre-owned condition. The glaze retains a brilliant, high-gloss shine. There are no cracks, or structural damage to the body, spout, or handle. There are a few glaze pops, an old divot to the foot ring which may be original and crazing is present. Please inspect all the provided photos to assess the condition.Approximate Measurements:Capacity: About a 4 cup or 1 quartWidth, including spout and handle: 9\"Height: 6.5\" to the top of the lidHeight without lid: 4.25\"Diameter: 5-5/8\"Shipping & Care:I take great care in packaging fragile vintage glassware and ceramics securely to ensure safe arrival.
