Up for sale is a stunning, large-scale vintage hand-painted porcelain vase by Andrea by Sadek. Standing at an impressive 16.5 inches tall, this substantial statement piece features a vibrant "Famille Jaune" yellow background decorated with intricate flowering plum blossom branches, foliage, and flying birds.

Production & Era:

This piece dates back to the 1980s to early 1990s, a peak era for Andrea by Sadek's premium Japanese imports. Unlike later inventory that moved to other regions, this vase was crafted and hand-painted by artisans in Japan, utilizing the company's signature stamped catalog number 8844 and the classic oval gold foil branding of that era.

The vase has a beautiful square, tapering column body that flares into a classic round rim trimmed in gold gilt. The bottom retains its original authentic oval foil sticker ("Andrea by Sadek, Made in Japan") and is stamped with the production number 8844.
