Pacific\'s Andy Griffith cards feature memorable characters and scenes from the classic television series, including Andy Taylor, Barney Fife, Opie, Aunt Bee and other Mayberry favorites.
⭐ 1991 Pacific Operation Desert Shield – 110-Card Collector Set
Factory sealed in the original clear wrap. This 110-card Pacific set documents Operation Desert Shield and the buildup to the Gulf War, with cards depicting military personnel, aircraft, equipment and notable figures of the period. The checklist includes President George H. W. Bush, Vice President Dan Quayle, General Colin Powell, U.S. troops, aircraft and other Desert Shield subjects.
⭐ TWO 1991 Operation Yellow Ribbon Desert Storm Commemorative Edition Sets
Two original blue collector boxes featuring the patriotic Operation Yellow Ribbon / Desert Storm design. These boxes are not shrink wrapped, so I am not representing them as factory sealed. However, upon inspection, neither box appears to have been opened from either end. The end flaps appear undisturbed as pictured, and I have intentionally left them that way.
These Operation Yellow Ribbon sets contain 60 cards each and commemorate the Gulf War with military personnel, aircraft, equipment and Operation Desert Storm imagery.
CONDITION:
Please review the detailed photographs for the exact condition of all four boxes. The two red Pacific collector sets retain their original factory wrapping. The two blue Desert Storm boxes show some normal exterior shelf/storage wear consistent with their age but have end flaps that do not appear to have been opened.
A very interesting 35+ year-old collection of Americana spanning two distinctly different pieces of American popular culture — Mayberry and The Andy Griffith Show alongside Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Operation Yellow Ribbon.
Sold together as the four-set lot pictured. The sealed sets will remain sealed and the blue boxes will remain unopened for the next collector.
