Wonderful vintage set of two classic books on close-up magic by Lewis Ganson, published by The Supreme Magic Company of offereford, Devon, England.
Included:
* The Art of Close-Up Magic – Volume One by Lewis Ganson, with line drawings by Dennis Patten. This copy is a January 1972 republication by The Supreme Magic Publishing Company.
* The Art of Close-Up Magic – Volume Two, compiled by Lewis Ganson and illustrated by Dennis Patten & Maurice Day. Copyright information shown inside includes Harry Stanley 1967 and Supreme Magic Co. 1971.
Both are hardcover volumes and retain their colorful original dust jackets — blue for Volume One and red for Volume Two.
These books cover a wide variety of close-up magic techniques and routines and are illustrated throughout, making the set a great addition to a collection of vintage magic, conjuring, sleight-of-hand, or magician reference books.
Condition:
Pre-owned vintage condition. The hardcover books themselves appear quite nice for their age. The original dust jackets show considerable age-related wear, including edge wear, tears/chipping, creasing, scuffs and areas of loss, particularly along the corners and spine ends. Volume One’s jacket has some old clear tape repairs. Interior pages show some age toning/discoloration but appear clean overall based on inspection. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition and contents.
Both Volume One and Volume Two are included and are being sold together as one lot.
