Vintage Atlantic Coastal Jet Senior Captain Wings 3” Badge CWS Insignia For Sale

This incredibly unique 3 inch vintage Atlantic Coastal Jet senior captain pilot wing pin features a striking antiqued pewter-silver finish highlighted by detailed feathered wings, a raised "ACJet" oval center crest, and a commanding senior pilot star and wreath insignia, securely completed with a dual clutchback reverse bearing the authentic CWS 2001 hallmark. Historically issued by Atlantic Coast Airlines (ACA) during the transition to their specialized "ACJet" regional jet division, the carrier operated as a vital regional network powerhouse primarily under the United Express and Delta Connection banners from its main headquarters and hub at Washington Dulles International Airport. Serving passengers and linking regional business routes across the Eastern Seaboard, Northeast, and Midwest, the elite senior captains who wore this command badge headed the introduction of the company's pioneering regional jet fleet—specifically helming the high-performance Fairchild-Dornier 328JET and Bombardier CRJ200 regional airliners before the company famously reorganized into Independence Air, making this exceptionally preserved, hallmarked piece a rare and highly collectible milestone artifact of millennial regional aviation history.

The wings are in very good condition, but it does have some surface scratches. Please see photos for condition.
