Vintage BSA 1983 XV World Jamboree Sub-Camp Antelope Scallop Shell Souvenir. The shell is approximately 5-1/4” in diameter, and has not been cleaned or bleached. Sub-Camp Antelope was in the NE quadrant of the Jamboree across the road from the Wolverine Sub-Camp. This natural scallop shell was a commemorative souvenir for scouts and visitors to Sub-Camp Antelope. The front of the shell features several blue ink stamps, including a stylized antelope graphic and the text "I VISITED SUB-CAMP ANTELOPE." The shell is in its natural state on the reverse, showing a clean, pearlescent white surface with just a few traces of the original scallop at the hinge and the brown spot in the dish of the shell. It comes equipped with a simple yellowed nylon cord.
Condition Note: The item shows age-appropriate wear, and there is some fading to the ink stamps.
