Beautiful and unusual vintage Italian wall clock featuring a hand-painted Bassano ceramic dial surrounded by an exceptionally detailed ornate pewter frame.

The cream-colored ceramic clock face is decorated with delicate pink and blue flowers connected by trailing green foliage. Bold black Roman numerals and decorative clock hands complement the floral design.

The elaborate pewter frame features raised floral and scrolling details with a softly scalloped outer edge, creating a beautiful combination of Italian ceramic artistry and traditional metalwork.

The reverse of the ceramic dial is marked BASSANO with the characteristic basket motif, along with a separate M.A. pictorial workshop/decorator mark. The pewter mounting hardware also bears a small standing angel hallmark and a faint marking that appears consistent with MOD. DEP., an Italian designation associated with a registered or deposited design.
