This very heavy duty model from a company that was known for producing fine Italian wares should make exceptionally good pizzelles though I haven’t tried it (estate sale find). The heaviness should mean less risk of burning and it should hold the heat better to ease the way in making a whole batch of these treats. Research hints that the WB may stand for Waffle Baker, a term that was apparently used before the term Pizzelle Baker came into common usage. The working part is aluminum. It shows evidence of a fair amount of usage. Oddly, the two arms seem to be made of steel as they had some light surface rust. I removed most of this with steel wool and I believe what it is left can be further removed with only slight effort. I point this out though I don\'t think it\'s consequential. You might expect the device to open to 180 degrees; actually, as the photo shows it opens only to about 120 degrees. Not sure of the reason for this design feature.

Proper preheating and heat control are key to success with pizzelles (I have my own maker) just as they are with waffle making. When baked they are traditionally sprinkled with powdered sugar; a friend makes the best of these and he adds a bit each of anise essence and vanilla essence.
