Striking pair of large Bombay Company crane/heron sculptures featuring graceful elongated forms and beautifully stylized feather detailing. Each bird has a different pose—one with its long neck extended upward and the other with its neck curved downward—making the pair especially attractive displayed together.
Finished in a very dark bronze/black tone and mounted on substantial square black bases. The underside retains the original BOMBAY® marking and Made in India label, item/style number 253102.
The taller crane measures approximately 22” high, while the curved-neck crane measures approximately 19” high. Please see measurement photos for additional size reference.
Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear. There are areas of finish loss/rubbing, particularly along the feather/body details, as visible in the photographs.
