This collection features four vintage miniature solid pewter cowboy figurines meticulously hand-sculpted by the celebrated Western artist Boyd Perry during the 1980’s. Each miniature stands as a character study capturing the rugged humor of the American frontier gold rush era, depicting three classic Old West characters hanging around a saloon scene alongside a dedicated gold prospector squatting low to pan for treasure. The first figure is the officially named character "Lounging Cowboy" sitting casually with a boot extended forward and his arm resting low, the second is the officially named character "Gabby" sitting upright holding a beverage bottle close to his torso, the third is the officially named character "Shorty" gripping his cowboy hat in a classic gesture of strategic frustration, and the fourth is the officially named character "Grubstake" leaning down to sift through his mining pan. The reverse side of each piece proudly bears the artist’s distinctive "PH" hallmark stamp, a signature logo paying homage to the historic cattle and farm brand belonging to the artist's father, Henry Perry. Every figure retains its original solid weight, deeply textured caricature casting lines, and the characteristic matte metallic patina unique to vintage American-made pewter artistry.
