Did you receive an offer from me for a particular item?

When you ?watch? an item, I receive a notification that someone showsinterest. If it?s possible for me, I can send you a rebate. Everything isanonymous so I never know to who I?m sending it too. I can?t send an offertwice to the same person for the same item. This is a precaution from toavoid harassment from sellers to buyers. So once the offer expired, I can?tsend another one.

Am I open to offers? Sure! You can always ask. But, please...prettyplease, don?t send ridiculous one. If you ask me if I will accept 8$ for anitem listed at 30$...I might not respond. It?s just energy draining and soulcrushing...

Also, when you make an offer, always separate the price and the shipping.The reason is that shipping price differs according to your postal code,country, etc. It?s impossible for me to remember all the rates to everywherefor over 20000 items. You always have the shipping fees (under the item priceusually) for your region. If you offer, for example, 30$ shipping included, it?svery difficult for me to asses and evaluate the offer.

We canrecycle, we can try to reduce our garbage, we can compost, but the truth is, aslong as we will buy new items, they will make more to replace them.

For sometimes now, I try, as much as possible to buy everything I own absolutelyanywhere but brand new in store. Clothing, decoration, jewellery, kitchenstuff, etc.

Of coursethe money part can be a factor but the main satisfaction comes from the factthat I didn?t use unnecessary Earth?s resources.

Instead, Igive a second life to an existing item that could have end up in alandfill.

When webuy new, we pollute twice...

The newitem that will be replaced on the store shelf, and the old, still veryfunctional, item that we could have saved. A little dramatic you would say? Isit really?
