Item Description
Vintage brass shank button with dark blue/black enamel field, St. Andrew-style saltire behind a crown, and a circular legend that appears to read “Highland/Scottish.” This design is commonly seen on Canadian/Scottish regiment-style blazer or uniform buttons—often attributed online to the 16th Canadian Scottish (CEF) era pieces—but many examples are later or civil buttons made in the style of regimental crests. (Scottish regimental insignia frequently use the saltire and thistle motifs.) National Army Museum
