Striking vintage brass swan chariot / carriage planter featuring an exceptionally ornate figural design.
A large beautifully detailed swan appears to pull a detailed bass wheeled carriage decorated with pierced spoked wheels, floral and lotus-style ornamentation, scrollwork, and a wonderfully detailed faux-upholstered seat and canopy. The casting is elaborate—the feathered swan, pierced wheels, floral/lotus motifs, faux-upholstered carriage and little rose detail give them much more decorative presence than a typical brass planter.
This is a substantial decorative piece weighing over 5 lbs. Its sculptural form makes it equally appealing displayed as a decorative object or used creatively as a planter or floral container.
