It features the classic, clean "CASE XX" tang stamp with no USA markings or chronological dots, verifying its rare mid-century vintage heritage.Specifications & Features:Pattern: Traditional 4-Blade CongressBlades Included: Dual primary blades (Sheepsfoot and Spear) and dual auxiliary blades (Coping/Pen).Handle Material: Gorgeous authentic Jigged Bone scales with an incredibly rich, warm vintage amber/brown patina.Liners & Bolsters: Solid brass liners with polished nickel silver bolsters.Production Era: 1940–1964 (Stamped pattern marking on the auxiliary tang).Condition Report:Snap & Action: Outstanding mechanical shape. All 4 blades feature perfect, loud, and crisp snap ("walk and talk") both opening and closing with highly resilient factory springs. No lazy blades.Blade Play: Absolutely zero wobble or blade play when extended; lock-up is exceptionally firm and tight. The factory crinking allows all four blades to fold smoothly into the wells.Handles: Excellent condition. The authentic jigged bone scales are completely free of chips, deep scratches, or hairline cracks around the pins. They fit tightly and seamlessly against the bolsters.Blades: The blades show light, honest vintage patina and minimal faint hairline scratches from past cleaning, but they retain incredibly full profiles and sharp edges.Structure: The knife has been well cared for.
