Vintage Chinese Blue White Pink Porcelain Teapot Flat Disc Art Phoenix 7x7.5\" For Sale

Title:
Vintage Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Flat Disc Decorative Teapot with Pink Floral Lid
Description:
Up for sale is a beautiful, highly unique vintage mid-to-late 20th-century Chinese export porcelain teapot. This striking piece features a distinctive flat, circular disc-like body reminiscent of traditional Chinoiserie \"Art Phoenix\" or puzzle-style vessels, complete with a raised \"rivet\" or stud patterned border.
Craftsmanship & Details:
While the ceramic structure was factory slip-molded to achieve its sharp, geometric flat-disc profile, the decoration is entirely hand-painted. Both flat faces display an intricately detailed oriental landscape scene depicting a stylized mountaintop, scrolling wind clouds, rolling hills, a thatched hut, and pine trees. The shoulders and the removable rectangular lid offer a lovely asymmetrical color pop with delicate, hand-brushed pink and green plum or cherry blossom vines.
The entire teapot is smoothly glazed, including a recessed rectangular foot base that remains completely clean and unmarked.
Dimensions:
• Height: Exactly 7 inches (from base to top of lid finial)
• Length: Exactly 7.5 inches (from outer edge of spout to handle)
• Width/Depth: Approximately 3 inches (narrow profile)
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Very clean glazed interior and base. Displays beautiful hand-painted variations and tiny, authentic kiln-firing micro-specks characteristic of genuine vintage export pottery.
