Up for sale is a complete, premium 3-piece vintage Chinese brass chimney hot pot set (traditionally known as a Huoguo or charcoal steamboat). Unlike partial sets commonly found on the market, this premium collector's example includes the main cooking basin with its internal charcoal chimney, the matching engraved vented lid, and the highly desirable matching brass under-tray/drip plate.
The lower pedestal of the bowl features decorative cut-out air vents to stoke the internal charcoal embers, while the protective under-tray is designed to catch falling ash and shield tabletops from heat. The domed lid is detailed with hand-engraved bamboo/pine patterns and traditional Chinese character cartouches, including the "福" (Fu) character for good fortune. Equipped with stylized decorative swing handles.
