This beautiful two-piece vintage Chinese enamel vanity set includes a matching hand mirror and trinket tray, both housed in their original green patterned fabric presentation boxes with toggle closures.
Hand Mirror Details
The hand mirror features traditional cloisonné craftsmanship with a crisp white enamel background, vibrant blue flowers, green vines, and a hummingbird motif set within intricate gold-tone wirework. It retains its original "Handmade in China" foil sticker on the handle.
Vanity Tray Details
The matching trinket dish showcases a stunning plique-à-jour style translucent pink enamel center. It is framed by an ornate, raised floral and leaf border in gold-tone metal with light green and white enamel accents. The reverse side features a "Not for Food" plaque, confirming its intended use as a decorative display piece.
Condition
Both the mirror and tray are in excellent vintage condition with bright, intact enamel and clear mirror glass. The green presentation boxes display beautifully, providing a secure and aesthetic storage solution. Listed as used because these are vintage items, but the mirror and tray appear entirely unused. The enamel is flawless, the mirror glass is clear, and the original foil sticker is still attached to the handle. The presentation boxes show minor exterior shelf wear.
