Antique Chinese Cloisonne Enamel Vase Cobalt Blue Butterfly Floral Late Qing 19th century.

This vase is a beautiful antique Chinese export cloisonné enamel vase dating to the late 19th Century (Late Qing Dynasty). The vase stands approximately 7 inches tall and features a vibrant, deep cobalt blue ground adorned with finely detailed flying butterflies, scrolling vines, and delicate bell-shaped floral blossoms.
The upper rim features a turquoise ruyi cloud border, while the flared foot is decorated with multi-colored lappets.
The solid brass bottom is completely unmarked, indicating it was produced prior to the 1891 McKinley Tariff Act labeling mandates. This is a classic and highly collectible example of late Imperial period export craft.
Condition
•Enamel Flaw: There is one small chip/loss to the enamel on the body of the vase. This chip exposes the brass surface underneath but does not compromise the surrounding wire cells or structural stability of the piece. See attached photo
•Overall Body: Aside from the noted chip, the enamel is stable and vibrant. It shows authentic, minor surface pitting and tiny glaze bubbles from the original kiln-firing process, which is standard for genuine antique cloisonné.
•Patina: Light, age-appropriate oxidation and natural patina on the exposed brass rim and base.
