Vintage Clear Glass Cupid Blowing Bubbles Intaglio Open Salt – Art Deco
Beautiful vintage clear glass open salt featuring a finely detailed frosted reverse-intaglio image of a winged Cupid blowing bubbles between two classical architectural columns.
Details:
- Approximately 2¾ inches across, outer edge to outer edge
- Eight-sided octagonal shape
- Clear glass with deeply beveled, faceted edges
- Frosted Cupid and bubble-blowing design
- Decorative classical columns and scrollwork
- Likely circa 1920s–1930s Bohemian/Czechoslovakian glass
Similar intaglio pieces are associated with Heinrich Hoffmann, although this example has no confirmed manufacturer\'s mark.
Condition: Very good overall vintage condition. There are a couple of extremely small fleabites along the rim and minor surface scratches on the underside, primarily noticeable when held up to the light. Close-up photographs are included for full disclosure.
