This Vintage Copper Tavern Pub Mug made in England is unusual in that it has a precision drilled hole near its rim.
Through research I have found that this hole was one of the methods that the British Royal Standards of Measurement confirmed that the mug would hold the liquid pint.
“Made in England” is stamped on the bottom in very fine print. Mug is 4 1/4 inches tall.
Condition is Good vintage used condition. Copper surface has scratches and other discolorations.
