Vintage Craftsman V-Series 1/2 inch drive ratchet, made in USA by Moore Drop Forging Co. of Springfield, Massachusetts. Working condition with honest age patina.

The "V" stamp identifies Moore Drop Forging, Craftsman's primary contract maker for ratchets and sockets beginning in the mid-1940s. This example is a round-head 1/2 inch square-drive ratchet with a plain lever reverse. It is marked CRAFTSMAN, FORGED IN U.S.A., and carries the V maker mark. There is no model number on this piece.
The ratchet mechanism works in both directions. Surfaces show wear and patina consistent with age and use; please review all 20 photographs, which are part of the description.
