This pipe is from my great-grandfather\'s pipe collection. He died in 1970, so I know this pipe is at least that old.
I personally don\'t know much about pipes, so please excuse the basic description.
Vintage squat bulldog-style tobacco pipe stamped “CUSTOM MADE” over “IMPORTED BRIAR.”
Features a diamond-shaped shank, black saddle stem, double grooves around the bowl, carved accents, and an attached perforated metal wind cap that pivots aside.
A metal stinger is present on the stem. Maker and country of manufacture are unknown.
Chamber opening measures approximately 0.87 inch across. The photographed weight is approximately 2.0 ounces. Bowl depth appears to be 1.24\" deep.
Shows scratches, finish wear, stem discoloration, and marks around the mouthpiece.
There are chips along the bowl grooves.
Not tested for smoking. Cleaning, stem fit, airflow, and smoking readiness have not been verified. Please review all photographs as part of the condition description.
