Up for sale is aVintage Dekalb Swine Breeders Hard Plastic Rubber 24\" x 15\" Hog Pig Farm Sign! EXCELLENT Used Condition from a smoke and pet free home! In hand and ready to ship! Sale will come for the unit exactly as pictured. I\'m guessing the sign is from the late 60\'s early 70\'s as most of the Dekalb Swine advertising was done mostly during the 1960\'s. As pictured, the sign features bright colors with no real damage to the sign. The sign measures just under 24\" long, just under 15\" from top to bottom, and is about 1/4\" thick. Sign weighs about 2 pounds and 13 ounces by itself. The sign is made of a hard plastic or rubber (I\'m not really sure what material it is fully made of). The sign does have some give to it, so it is not a full, thick hard plastic. As pictured, the colored sections do have detail to them with a textured look. Also as pictured, there is a hole near the top middle of the sign which is how it was hung for MANY years in an old shop (hence the bowing as pictured). Due to the age, storage, displaying, etc, the sign does show some flaws. There are some scuffs, blemishes, etc to the mainly white area of the sign. They were pretty much impossible to get on camera and are pretty hard to even see in person unless you look at the sign just right at certain angles. Still to me, the flaws don\'t take away from the beauty of this sign. VERY RARE piece as I have not seen another like it! The swine advertising is getting VERY hard to find.
