Material: Ceramic/Porcelain Base, Brass Neck; Colorway: Turquoise Blue with Brownish Marbling, Polished Brass
Condition: Vintage, pre-owned condition with visible age-related wear. This is a lovely hand-painted Delft Holland bud vase with a glossy pale blue ceramic base and brass-tone metal stem. The high-gloss glaze is smooth and free of chips, cracks, or repairs. The hand-painted bottom stamp is legible. Brass-tone metal has been lightly cleaned/buffed and has a bright brassy shine, but still shows scratches, darkened age marks, patina, and age lines that did not fully polish out. The top open edge of the metal stem has some minor denting/unevenness. There is a small raised/lifted edge near the brass collar where it meets the ceramic base, as shown. Bottom has age-related staining/discoloration around the unglazed foot/rim area. Photos are of the exact item for sale.
