In Mickey's Mechanical Man (1933), Mickey constructs a boxing robot named Champ to face off against the formidable gorilla, "Kongo Killer" (also referred to as Beppo the Gorilla). The robot struggles in the ring until Minnie honks a car horn, driving Champ into a frenzy that allows him to defeat Kongo Killer and win the fight.
