Vintage El Palomar Dove Bird Planter - Centerpiece - Tonala Mexico For Sale

Brown and blue bird (possibly dove) planter or centerpiece, I'm really not sure what it is marked El Palomar. I'm not sure if it is from the Ken Edwards collection or before that time. From the markings, I believe it is earlier, but I can't say for sure. It measures approx. 8 1/2" x 7 1/4". The stoneware material is thick, the specks you see on them I assume are in the clay used.
