Up for sale is an exceptionally rare, pristine-condition piece of mid-century novelty history! This is the 6th Month installment from the famous Enesco Japan The Long Wait pregnancy progression series.
The set includes two separate hand-painted porcelain figurines: the expectant mother showing a substantial baby bump under a classic yellow polka-dot smock jacket, and the anxious father-to-be wearing a pink vest while holding a black diaper bag or travel pouch.
What makes this specific piece a true collector\'s find is the completeness of the package. It comes preserved in its original cardboard box from Japan, sitting on the original excelsior wood-shaving straw packing, and still retains the original gold-string cardboard hanging tag.
