Vintage German Erzgebirge Räuchermann incense smoker figure, beautifully hand-carved in the classic artisan painter design.
This charming figure depicts a traditional artist complete with paint palette, brushes, pipe, and backpack easel—an uncommon and highly collectible variation within Erzgebirge folk art. Crafted from turned and carved wood with hand-painted details, it embodies the warmth and craftsmanship of mid-century German holiday decor.
Designed as an incense smoker (Räuchermann), the figure separates at the torso to hold a cone incense, allowing smoke to gently escape through the mouth when in use.
