Vintage Estate Linens: Yellow Embroidered Italian Placemat Napkin Set for 6 B586 For Sale

A simple and elegant 1960s set from Italy with pretty single yellow flowers in the corners of the placemats and in a corner of each napkin. The runner is similar to the placemats with an extra flower at the top and another at the bottom. They all have double-fold hems which are neatly topstitched by hand in the bright yellow (punto quadro) used in the flowers. This row of yellow thread creates a lovely frame.

The condition is excellent. One placemat has a few tiny faint spots, as pictured - these are minor. Hand laundered - bright and fresh!
