This hatchet is in great condition but does show a little ware on the leather handle. Very slight, and it’s from the in and out of the sheath that slides down the handle while pulling it out of the sheath. You can’t feel it, but you can see it. Still very smooth.
The metal is good and I sharpened the blade on a wet wheel sharpener at a 30° angled edge for durability while chopping.
Leather sheath is in great condition too.
