A classic vintage etched spessartine garnet floater crystal from the historical mid-century workings at Poço dos Cavalos, Ceará, Brazil. This specimen most likely came out in the 1950s or 60s during the peak mining period, this piece is fully etched across all sides with no matrix attachment points. It features a rich reddish-orange color with natural glassy lustre, exhibiting translucent to gemmy transparent areas when backlit. The specimen shows light, honest edge wear and small chatter dings on high points typical for vintage material, but remains structurally complete with no major breaks.
