Very dark purple carnival glass, looks beautiful in sunlight. Mainly for a display, do not microwave  & hand wash only to keep it\'s luster.  I gently cleaned and removed adhesive residue from the bottom. It does say Fenton in an oval. Gorgeous piece! Slight marks or scars from manufacturing & just its age on its bottom, but there are no chips & no cracks.
