Unusual Christian religious figurine featuring a seated mustached musician playing an acoustic guitar while sitting atop a vintage Welch’s Grape Juice 5.5 fl oz can. The black stepped base reads “OH! THE BLOOD OF JESUS.”
A distinctive piece combining Christian religious imagery, music, folk-art styling and vintage Welch’s advertising. No maker’s name or identifying mark was found on the underside, so the maker and exact age are unknown.
Condition
Pre-owned very good. Displays age-related surface wear, patina, scratches and marks. The Welch’s grape juice can shows wear consistent with age. The underside of the base has adhesive/residue and surface wear. No maker’s mark or identifying label was found. Please see all photos for exact condition.
