Original vintage wooden military shipping/storage trunk with metal-clad exterior, retaining its original stenciled shipping markings.
Visible markings include Coleman Transfer & Storage Inc., Topeka, Kansas, Transportation Officer, Forbes AFB, Kansas, and James O. Brown, along with additional period shipping/identification numbers.
Measures approximately 32” long × 16” wide × 14” tall.
The original military-related stenciling gives this piece excellent character and makes it suitable for militaria collecting, Air Force memorabilia, vintage storage, display, or industrial décor.
Condition: Vintage used condition. Minor wear and tear to the interior. Exterior shows scratches, scuffs, paint loss, oxidation, staining and general wear consistent with age and use.
