Up for sale is an authentic, beautifully preserved vintage official member badge for Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, the national music fraternity. This iconic triangular badge features a stunning crown-set border consisting of 12 fine seed pearls and 6 alternating red garnets/rubies. **Does “not” stick to magnet and passed acid testing for 10K.
The center displays a rich black enamel field adorned with the fraternity's symbolic Old English "S" and the Greek letters ΦΜΑ in bright gold.

The reverse side of the badge features its original custom engraving, uniquely identifying its original owner: Chapter Code: "ZZ" (Identifies the initiating chapter)Roster/Scroll Number: "3070" (Identifies the individual brother's unique sequence placement within that chapter)
Condition: Preowned vintage condition and could use being cleaned. I didn’t want to chance loosening any of the pearls or gems, and all appear to be original, securely seated, and retain beautiful coloration. The rear pin mechanism and safety clasp function properly but do show same age.
