Vintage French or Bohemian frosted opaline-type glass cologne jar with original matching stopper. Measures 5½" tall with stopper and 3⅛" wide.
Soft peach/cream frosted glass body decorated with painted floral garlands in brownish-rose tones with green leaves and small gold accents. Gold gilt bands at the rim and base. Matching blue figure-8 style marks on the base of the jar and the bottom of the stopper (a common factory pairing mark).
The painted decoration and gold are in decent condition with typical age-related wear. Original stopper is present and appears to fit as intended. No chips or cracks noted.
Classic late Victorian / Edwardian style dressing-table piece, consistent with French or Bohemian frosted opaline-type glass of the period.
