Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage French copper Turkish coffee pot (Cezve / Ibrik). This piece was expertly manufactured in Paris, France by the historical firm Méret Frères (also operating as Méret, Lelong, Fournier & Co.).
Historical Marks:
The bottom features a crisp, fully intact circular stamp reading "UNIS FRANCE" alongside the regional group number 58 and the manufacturer's "L.C." initials framing the traditional winged Caduceus symbol of Mercury. A separate size indicator stamp number 4 sits next to the main mark. This specific mark design links the vessel to French trade directories dating back to the late 1920s/1930s.
Design & Construction Details:

• Authentic hand-riveted heavy solid brass handle securely fastened by two copper rivets.
• Classic tin-lined interior designed for traditional coffee preparation.
• Handle features an integrated hanging loop at the tip for beautiful rustic kitchen display.
Condition:
The item displays a beautiful, authentic aged copper patina with minor surface spots, consistent with its age and historical use. The solid brass handle remains tightly attached with absolutely no wobble. The interior tin lining shows normal oxidation and darkening from age (Please review the detailed photos carefully to evaluate the condition of the interior lining if you intend to use this piece for active food preparation). No major dents or structural damage.
