This is a very unique and custom handmade piece to display necklaces. It is made of ceramic in France approximately late 70s to mid 1980s and made exclusively for Gas Bijoux. They were brought to the states for the opening of the New York store and have been kept in storage ever since.
This one stands approximately 12 inches high and 9 inches wide at its widest point. There is a metal brand tack at the bottom.
*The condition is used with normal wear and tear. It is still shiny and has 1 chip at the left front (see photo) . *
The finish on this one is beautiful in a very Creme crackle glaze with light gray veins as the crackle..
There are two premade areas in the back where you can insert a wire or tack to hold your pieces at the desired length on the bust.
It’s very lovely. They just don’t make things like this anymore.
