A mixed lot of vintage garage and workbench smalls, the kind of thing that turns up in the bottom of a toolbox and looks right on a shelf.
Two Fusetron dual-element plug fuse boxes lead the lot. One is the teal Bussmann carton printed NOT JUST A FUSE with the original 48 cent price still on the front and the instruction text inside the lid, the other the red and silver T20 carton for twenty amp fuses. The fuses themselves are the screw-base type with brass shells and clear ribbed glass tops, and the brass has darkened with age. These are the old Edison-base household fuses, long superseded, and they are bought now for display, for period-correct restoration work, and for the packaging graphics.
With them is a chrome pencil-type tire pressure gauge, the slim pocket pattern with a knurled chuck head and a brass-tipped slide bar. There are also two small solid brass Fortress padlocks on a ring with two matching keys, and a handful of assorted steel bolts, screws and fasteners.
Condition is used and honest throughout. The fuse cartons are scuffed and softened at the corners with shelf wear, the fuses show tarnish and dirt on the brass shells, the tire gauge has light surface wear to the chrome and a worn tip, and the padlocks are lightly tarnished. The padlocks open and close and the keys work. The fuses have not been tested and are sold as collectible or display items, not as working electrical components.
